Powered by a 15 hp motor that drives through a 20 hp-rated gear reducer, its output shaft drives rolls through a dual 100-lb. chain. The rolls are interconnected through a spur gear system that assures roller synchronization; no slippage between rolls is possible.

Depend on longer life with the rugged construction that features a full-length 4-inch diameter steel shaft that runs through the a 24-inch diameter roll. Nine 1/2-inch baffles in each roll are continuously welded to the shaft and to the roll. The ends of the roller shafts are mounted in sealed self-aligning spherical ball bearings.
